How much does CNC machining cost? It depends on material, geometry, tolerances, and quantity. Send a drawing or CAD file to info@ideasprototyped.com — most quotes within one business day.
What file formats do you accept? SolidWorks native, STEP, IGES, DXF, and PDF drawings. Hand sketches welcome — we’ll create the CAD model for you.
What’s your typical lead time? Most prototype parts ship in 1–2 weeks; simple parts faster. Tell us your deadline and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
Do you do one-off parts? Yes. One part, five parts, five hundred — prototypes and short runs are our specialty, not a nuisance.
Can you make a part from a sample, with no drawing? Yes. We reverse-engineer the sample, model it in SolidWorks, and produce a drawing for your approval before machining.
What materials do you work with? Aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, brass, copper, steels, and engineering plastics (Delrin, PEEK, UHMW, polycarbonate, nylon). Cast urethanes from rubber-soft to rigid.
Where are you located? 16654 NE 88th St, Redmond, WA 98052 — serving Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Woodinville, and customers nationwide. Local pickup and drop-off welcome.
